Gregory L. Heathcock, M.S., MBA, CNMT
President 

Gregory L. Heathcock is the President of Phoenix Technology Corporation®. Greg began at Phoenix Technology Corporation® in 1999, as a Nuclear Medicine Consultant and assumed the role of President from Mr. Phillip Chambless in 2001. Previously, Greg was the Supervisor of Nuclear Medicine at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He obtained his Nuclear Medicine education at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Greg earned a B.S. Degree from Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, and his M.B.A. from the executive M.B.A. program at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. Additionally, Greg obtained a Master’s in Radiation Science (specializing in Nuclear Medicine) from Australia’s Charles Sturt University. Greg is originally from White House, Tennessee.

Phillip M. Chambless, Sr., M.E., CRP
Chief Medical Physicist 

Phil Chambless has been with Phoenix Technology Corporation® since 1985, becoming the owner and President from 1994-2001. Previously employed at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission where he operated as a Senior Inspector in the Materials Program and Pam Am World Services at Cape Canaveral working as Physics Support for the initial Space Shuttle Columbia Launch. Phil graduated from the University of Virginia in 1977 with a Masters of Engineering in Radiological Physics and became Board Certified ABR in Diagnostic Physics in 1989. Phil is originally from Dublin, Georgia.

Michael P. Cuddy, M.S., DABR

Michael Cuddy joined Phoenix Technology Corporation® in January 2009, after completing a B.S. Degree in Physics at John Carroll University and an M.S. in Medical Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Mike is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Medical Physics.  Mike is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Sandra L. Paige, M.S., RT (R) (MR), DABR
Certified Diagnostic Medical Physicist 

Sandra Paige joined Phoenix Technology Corporation® in January 2010. She completed her B.S. Degree in Radiologic Science from the University of Central Florida and worked as a Radiologic Technologist in Orlando, FL. She then went on to earn her M.S. Degree in Medical Physics at the University of Florida. Sandy is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Medical Physics. Sandy is originally from Orlando, Florida.

Christopher D. Bentley, M.S., DABR
Certified Diagnostic Medical Physicist
Director of Research and Development 

Christopher Bentley joined Phoenix Technology Corporation® in August, 2010. Chris came from a position as a Therapeutic Medical Physicist. Chris earned a B.S. Degree in Physics and Mechanical engineering from Georgia Technical Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. After practicing Nuclear Engineering for two years he returned to Georgia Tech to earn his Masters Degree in Medical Physics. Chris is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Medical Physics. Chris is originally from Atlanta, Georgia.

Katie Tanner, M.S.
Medical Physicist 

Katie Tanner joined Phoenix Technology Corporation® in October 2013. She graduated with a B.S. Degree in Physics & Astronomy from the University of Georgia before earning her Masters Degree in Medical Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. Katie has successfully completed Part One of the American Board of Radiology (ABR) Board Exam in Diagnostic Radiology. She is also a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM). Katie is originally from Savannah, Georgia.

Drake Brookins, M.S.
Medical Physicist 

Drake Brookins joined Phoenix Technology Corporation®  in July of 2014. After earning a B.S. Degree in Health Physics from Francis Marion University, he continued on to obtain his M.S.  in Medical Physics from Duke University. Drake has completed Part One of the American Board of Radiology (ABR) Board Exam in Diagnostic Radiology. He is a member of the Health Physics Society (HPS) and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM). Drake is originally from Florence, South Carolina.

Kyle Gilley, B.S.
Health Physicist

Kyle Gilley joined Phoenix Technology Corporation®  in May of 2015. He attended Francis Marion University and earned a B.S. Degree in Health Physics. From there he attended Duke University before joining Phoenix Technology Corporation®. He is a member of the Health Physics society (HPS). Kyle is originally from Florence, South Carolina.

Walter Wooten

Walter Wooten, III, M.S.
Medical Physicist

Walter Wooten joined Phoenix Technology Corporation® in October 2015. He graduated with a B.S. Degree in Physics with an emphasis in Biophysics from Clemson University prior to earning his Masters Degree in Medical Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta. Before joining Phoenix Technology Corporation®, Walter worked as a Research Specialist in the Quantitative BioImaging Laboratory at Emory University. Walter is originally from Charleston, South Carolina.

Kristan Marshall, M.S.
Medical Physicist

Kristan Marshall joined Phoenix Technology Corporation® in June 2016. She graduated with a B.S. Degree in Physics from Benedict College before earning her Masters Degree in Medical Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. Kristan previously taught Physics at a Cobb County High School, and was an adjunct College Physics Instructor at Sanford Brown. Kristan is originally from Detroit, Michigan.

T.J. Godfrey, M.S.
Medical Physicist

T.J. Godfrey joined Phoenix Technology Corporation® in February 2017. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from the University of North Georgia in 2012 prior to earning his Master of Science degree in physics from the University of Georgia. Before joining Phoenix Technology Corporation®, he worked as a research assistant for the Ullrich Ultrafast Laser Group and specialized in biophysics and physics education research. T.J. is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM). T.J. is originally from Blue Ridge, GA.
